Why this ministry matters
America depends on truck drivers.
Nearly everything we use has been on a truck. Yet drivers spend days and weeks away from their families, many battle loneliness, depression, anxiety, and temptation, and many have no church community because they're constantly on the road. They're a mission field that's literally driving past us every day.
Why this ministry is so badly needed
Jesus didn't only minister to one group of people—He met people where they were. Our mission is to meet truck drivers where they are, with practical items they can use, encouragement they can feel, and the hope of Christ they can carry with them.
We are grateful that churches have numerous ministries. We're not asking them to choose one ministry over another. We're asking if there's room for another mission that reaches people your current ministries don't. This isn't competing with your other ministries—it's complementing them.
The ripple effect
Every care package we hand to a truck driver doesn't just impact one person. That driver goes home to a spouse, children, grandchildren, coworkers, and other drivers. When you encourage one driver, the ripple effect can reach an entire family.
